Karl Balogun - Training Facilitator (London)
I have worked with Unlock My Life for just under a year. I volunteered with the charity whilst serving out the last part of my prison sentence, and was able to get a better insight into the way mental health affects all of us.
I wanted to be able to share my journey - the highs and the lows - and help others who are in a similar situation. I’ve not only found the work I’ve been involved in rewarding on a personal level, but I feel the charity is doing amazing things for people who are often forgotten and overlooked, due to being incarcerated.
3 facts about me:
I’m a father of 3.
I support Arsenal.
I hate the cold.
